SPIROMETRY & LUNG FUNCTION TESTING 

Your GP may refer you for lung function testing or Spirometry. If you have been referred solely for this service, the tests will be performed without a formal consultation with Dr Zheng. The results of your lung function tests will be sent back to your referring doctor.

If you have been referred to Dr Zheng for a consultation, he will perform lung function tests if necessary to appropriately diagnose and manage your condition.

AIRWAY AND LUNG DISEASE 

Dr Zheng is experienced in treating the following airway and lung conditions: Asthma, COPD 

  • Pulmonary Fibrosis

  • Sarcoidosis 

  • Lung infections

  • Chronic cough and Shortness of Breath

PULMONARY HYPERTENSION

Pulmonary hypertension is a condition where there is increased blood pressure of the lung arteries. Symptoms of pulmonary hypertension include tiredness, syncope, shortness of breath, leg swelling, chest pain and a fast heart beat. Dr Zheng can investigate for this condition and discuss management options to treat this condition. For more information on pulmonary hypertension please click here.

PULMONARY MASSES AND LUNG CANCER WORK UP

If a pulmonary mass or lung cancer is suspected, Dr Zheng provides a prompt consultation service to assist in further investigation and diagnosis. Dr Zheng performs bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound which will facilitate diagnosis and management.
